Inspired by the Japanese concept of "tsundoku".
Described by some as an “art”, tsundoku refers to the habit of keep of buying new books to read later, quite often resulting in having little piles of books around the house! That feeling of comfort and excitement a book lover gets when adding a new book to the collection.
Our tsundoku candle will take you to your own bookshop, reading by a cosy fire, listening to rain pattering on the window and the crackling of the wooden wick, surrounded by books and a feeling of content. A beautiful base of precious woods, combined with vanilla resins, spices and earthy vetiver. Truly special and grounding!
